with the heat and since i’m not too focused on anything, fancied splitting a long effort into a ride then a run. it was a lot cooler on the bike and i drank a bottle.

out at a steady pace then gradually increased on the way back

very hard in the heat and i probably over cooked the first one. planned to run progressively quicker, but had to settle for all at ~10k pace
might have been a better session if i’d run the shorter ones as two sets of 1k/800/200/600/400

Annoyingly missed the Thursday group by oversleeping but then didn’t feel at all refreshed by the longer sleep. Then work meant no chance to run later in the day.

Good thursday group session. I am still feeling a little sluggish compared to the rest, but times were good and consistent. It is more that Paul, James & Camilla have kicked on since I was last training consistently in the autumn.
