Ponteland new year wheelbarrow race
I was pushing Emma's friend cherry who was excellent at coxing and intimidating other teams. We had to make one obligatory changeover which took a little while as she is tiny, meaning I pushed nearly all of it. About a minute slower than usual I think.
Great fun as always and we were first in the mixed doubles.
My superlative barrow handling skills to avoid multiple pile ups at the start were described by one traitorous spectator as "mincing".

Team Cochrane run at formby dunes, 7 of us altogether (Em, ma, Jon, amber, ed, Christina; dad missing out with a dodgy knee). Nice jog around the forest to begin with then we all did our own thing for a bit.
