Off-road running long 2:38:00 [3] 32.0 km (4:56 / km)
shoes: Asics 2150 (ii)

Long run from D&R's out to the reservoir (minor detour on the way), 2 laps, and back. Driving wind and rain made this pretty grim for large parts although thankfully the reservoir was mostly sheltered and flat. To & from was really quite hilly and I felt it on the way back.
Slow to start with but gradually picked up the pace to ~4:45/km which felt fine. Didn't take on any gel and only a small breakfast so this will have been good for training the old energy systems.

HFW
Last 2.5k at marathon pace - not part of the plan but a massive thunder cloud was gathering. It got me anyway.

Note
(sick)

Had planned an easy run + pilates but decided to rest up and recover properly. Missing a day like today won't set me back.

Note
(sick) (rest day)

Feeling run down and throaty but had planned a rest day anyway which is quite convenient.
