a bit better this time as i brought the right goggles. still hardly setting the world on fire but can now do a length a good few seconds quicker than before (i.e. I have moved from pitifully slow to slow).

Road running 23:25 intensity: (13:42 @2) + (7:37 @3) + (2:06 @4) 5.3 km (4:25 / km)
ahr:169 shoes: Asics 2140 (ii)

just a short run but made it a progression run, moving up from 4:40 to 4:10 to 3:40.

Rode from home down to the coast (broadstairs) to see little bro, covering the width of kent in the process.
Unsurprisingly felt like hard work towards the end, this is much further than I've ridden before. But lots of it was quite comfortable and the only time I really struggled was on the unexpected climb just before canterbury. Otherwise paced it well and was able to keep the speed up in the last few km.
