Road running long 2:01:00 [2] 15.2 mi (7:58 / mi) +400m 7:22 / mi
shoes: Asics 2140

Good long run up the three hills route: Ashurst Beacon-Parbold Hill-Ashurst Beacon. Three long (15 mins) climbs interspersed with short drops back down. First and last miles (flat) were each comfortably around the 7.30 mark so pace was decent. Lots of energy drink so didn't feel too flat at the end.

Terrain running 1:16:36 intensity: (36:33 @2) + (25:02 @3) + (15:01 @4)
shoes: Asics Trabuco

Accelerating run on Formby dunes - wish all terrain runs were like this! Did 30 mins easy pace, then 25 mins steady, then 15 mins quick.
Realised running up the dunes that my legs are not as strong as they could be. Should do some gym work perhaps.

Note

Now feeling rested and legs no longer sore. Good!

Road running 50:00 [2]
shoes: Asics 2140

Another loosener round the downs. Still tired, but started to feel more normal towards the very end so can probably run properly again in a day or two.

Road running 40:00 [2]
shoes: Asics 2140

Just a leisurely jog around the downs. Cut it short when my legs started to feel sore rather than just tired and heavy. Definitely going to be an easy week.
