Nice run out. Gave my colleagues 15 mins and we reached #19 (of 20) together :-)
I did somehow fail to see #4 though meaning I popped back out of the bushes, dicked around for a bit and then went back. Was a bit too quick to turn back when the control didn’t leap out from behind the tree, shake me by the hand and offer me a cup of tea.

did this late after not eating a whole lot during the day and had really started to run out of energy towards the end. I always find the long drag from Kimpton back to harpenden hard work.
Just past Lilley there is hexton hill which might be worth a look one day

Imperial College park race
Ran in a very relaxed frame of mind as I'm keen to have a few weeks hardly running at all before launching into a marathon training plan. Actually ended up pushing hard on a lot of the shorter legs but cruising on the longer ones.
One big mistake on #15 where I got completely turned around on the way out of the square. Plus a few cases where I wasn't forcing myself to concentrate. Suspect I should get away with that a bit more at some of the other park races!
