Note

No loggable exercise, but I did walk from Senior House up to Mary Chung's in Central Square and back with some friends, and the toe didn't complain, so that's good.

exercises 2:12 [5]

12 ring pullups, 40 pushups, 80 situps. The pullups were some while more heavily dressed than usual (shoes and more clothing), the pushups were really wimpy, and the situps were slow.

running (trails) 29:58 [2] 3.98 km (7:31 / km) +36m 7:12 / km
shoes: Inov-8 Oroc 350

The doc said to baby my foot for a week, and it's been eight days since he said that, so it was time for a gentle run. Just the short loop, wearing my clunkiest shoes, taped up toe, and thick socks. I felt like my gait was impossibly clumsy early on, but I eventually loosened up. Didn't want to overdo it, but I took one side trip up a trail I had seen but not explored; seems to be a well-traveled (but illicit) ATV track leading to somebody's back yard. Seemed like a pretty sustainable pace. Icing my foot now.

exercises 2:16 [5]
(injured)

40 pushups, 80 situps, 16 ring pullups. Counted carefully this time. I had thought about going for a gentle run, but with temps in the 30s when I got home from work, I wasn't feeling it.

exercises 1:20 [5]
(injured)

Gotta do something: 80 situps. I think it was 80. It was at least 60.
