Thought about a unicycle ride, then figured it might be too close to dark and I'd be better of just running Mystery Blazes, but as I was a couple of hundred yards from home, I passed a kid walking down the road with... a unicycle! I stopped and said hi to him, then took it as a sign and got mine for a little
ride. Four stops, one at the steep downhill by Marshall Pond (psyched myself out), one near the bottom of Holman (avoiding too much broken glass), then the second time at the Holman/Northfield stop sign, and a final one when I didn't quite make the steep hill back up to the house. Rusty after the winter, so getting on each time took a bunch of tries. I think this was the first time since they resurfaced Northfield, and it was quite nice. Lots of nature sounds while I was out, and it's nice when I'm riding along and not thinking about riding so I can notice that stuff. Also a bunch of kids playing what I assume was assault rifle laser tag in the woods down by the bridge.
