orienteering (course setting) 59:42 [1] ** 4.4 km (13:34 / km)
spiked:13/13c shoes: GoLite SunDragon

Walk to start and streamering White course for Boulder Dash at Fox Forest with Stephen. He designed the course with my help, and we went around it with him identifying the control features and me putting up the streamers. Would have been a bit more fun with fewer mosquitoes (or maybe the use of repellent). For Yellow, my plan is to streamer the course that he designed, and have him run it with me shadowing, rather than doing what we did for White. I may also need to rethink some of the designs due to an area that has been extensively thinned by a logging crew. At the very least, I'll need to map out the extent of the work and add the skidder trails. A bit more work than I was hoping, but I'm optimistic that the logged area isn't too large (there was an interpretive trail sign sggesting that it's only 47 acres). Also plenty of poison ivy out there.

pedaling (road) 1:29:11 [3] 27.89 km (3:12 / km)

The first quarter of this ride was with Alan, then he went to Brécey and to Gathemo and got back a few minutes after I did. Had I gone to Gathemo, which I considered, he probably would have caught me, but I wanted to go on some smaller, more scenic roads. Part of the reason I was so much slower is because I stopped a few times to take pictures.

pedaling (road) 23:06 [3] 8.42 km (2:45 / km)

A loop from Dale's house with Alan, on his extra bike that he keeps permanently stashed in Normandy. I think this is the loop we rode, though I was just following him and not paying close attention to where we were going.
