Attackpoint 1600m thing, four days late. 40F, windy, and there was still some ice on the track in the far turn. I have no idea how track stuff works, so I did this in lane 2 just to be sure I wasn't shortchanging myself. Wheezing. Taking all of these excuses into account, I'm sure I could have done this in 7:55 or better in ideal conditions.
Quarter splits: 1:40 - 2:00 - 2:13 - 2:07

Jogging home. I can't complain, any time I get under 6 min/km is pretty good as far as I'm concerned.

Note

I didn't log the downhill skiing in December as exercise, so I guess I'll be consistent and just log it as a Note this time as well. Five hours at Waterville Valley with Nancy, quite a bit of which was pretty vigorous. Great snow, no lift lines, and we skied pretty much everything on the mountain. Only modest airtime in the terrain parks, although both of us did ski the half-pipe(!).

Several thousand half-assed little pushups and pullups, mixed in with a few things resembling sun salutations. Not really aerobic exercise (although the last couple of minutes were aerobatic), but quite tiring nonetheless.

With Stephen (skis) and Nancy (snowshoes) at Hollis Town Forest in the dark before the Bundschuhs' party. We got there just after everybody else left, and I hadn't brought a map, so we just winged it. Went straight at Four Corners instead of turning left like everybody else had, and wound up doing a substantially longer loop than we intended. The moon came out from behind the clouds for a little while, and it was quite warm, so it was really a very pleasant night to be out.
