WBSW, exactly the same loop as a week ago. Considerably wetter today, and I managed to be a couple of minutes faster. Curiously, the watch also says that this run was 300 meters shorter. I don't remember which watch I used last week, but this one was the Garmin 10, and I think it just doesn't capture tight turns as well as the 405. Neither one does a very good job, to be honest. I punched a split on both runs at the same place. That spot is just after a set of tight switchbacks, and before another set. Neither watch really shows them at all. So the actual distance is probably somewhat more than either track shows, though not a whole lot more, because most of the loop isn't twisty.
After writing all that, I realized that about 2/3 of the discrepancy in both distance and time was because last week I ran from the car to the trailhead, then back to the car to check something. But the watches still don't show the switchbacks. And I also just realized that the high point on this trail loop is also Rattlesnake Hill (not to be confused with the place in Bolton near my office).
