COC Sprint in Perth. Really fun course. Good mix of challenges - walls and traps, route choice around buildings and bridges. Some park terrain toward the end. Decent run, a few small mistakes, and certainly places where I could have had a bit more speed. Calf sore at the end, but fine for most of the race. 1st in M45. 11th overall including the elites and juniors. Damian killed it in 14:41.

Retr-O at Camp Fortune. Decent run. Some really nice woods, other areas a bit junky. Black and white map seemed just fine.

Training at the Ecowellness Centre. Pretty junky forest and really buggy. Not the most fun orienteering ever, but good training I guess.

ECOC's Middle. Really good race. Minimal mistakes and was able to get the speed up quite a bit faster than yesterday. Less rock underfoot, which was nice. Still lots of trail use, so relatively easy.

ECOC's Long. Took it out easy and never really got going. Mistake on the first control, sloppy elsewhere. Right ankle felt a bit weak beforehand (did something to it early in the week, not quite sure what) and I lacked confidence anywhere the footing was tough. Ok start for the week, but lots of room for improvement. Right calf a bit tight afterward.
