Out and around West Lothian, wth a long section back along the Union Canal. Lovely sunny evening, feeling pretty knackered though. A new pair of cycling shorts works to a certain extent as a new arse, but I still need a little break before sitting down becomes enjoyable again.

Arse absolutely dying by the end. Cross training really is quite time-consuming too.

Got 6min into a 45,45,90 session before knocking it on the head. R upper inside quad just pinging a bit and didn't like the way it was feeling.

Feeling a bit frustrated with everything today.

Longest ride I've done but legs feeling really zippy in the last hour. I think this is down to riding with a much higher cadence than usual (Brodie's orders for the knee) which must suit me better and stops me bonking too.

Holyrood High

Kim/Brodie-sanctioned session. 16x 200m R, with stationary rests to minimise running. Found this a shock to the system. Knee handled it OK, hurting but not deteriorating. Outside upper shin on the right did get real painful and tight though so loosening that a little helped.
