EOC Sprint Quali - 3rd

Very comfortable qualification and a good performance. No mistakes to speak of, just got the second longer routechoice wrong. Started with Kris and Florian Schneider, and ended up just behind Kris coming through the spectator control. Knew this was going well but kept up the pace for the rest too. Got painful in the last km but kept pushing.

So today I qualified high up and didn't need to push so hard. This happened 2 years ago at EOC too. Since then I've had two pretty close calls at WOC sprint qualis though so I didn't want to take any chances. Not sure how to play this. I'm wary of trying to push 95% because it's easy for this to turn into 85-90% without you noticing, and I have a tendency to lose focus/get lazy in my head when I'm not racing properly.

Routechoices weren't so great. Felt tired from the morning but from the splits looks like I was still running respectably. A small step forward in EOC terms but pretty dissapointed.
