Baddinsgill Round - 1st

A nice route with lots of bog trotting. Made slightly more difficult by the impromptu decision to get smashed with my friends and go to Hive the night before. Couldn't back out as I'd promised Mark and Liam a lift, but they knew the route well and were kind enough to let me sit on their wheels for 95% of the race before I managed to find a little bit of a surge on the last hill. Liam was really going well in the second half of the race and I struggled quite a bit at times to stick with him as my legs got steadily more wobbly from all the bog and heather. Nice little day out in the end even if it didn't always seem like a great idea.

Calves feeling pretty tight when I woke up so sacked off parkrun and went for a nice run with Tom instead (when he woke up). Ran the route I should have taken Dave on the other day, but in reverse which is easier.

3x 1km [1min] increasing speed each time.

I thought I had seen the last of Meadowbank for a while but what's wrong with a little breakup session?

Note
(rest day)

R hamstring has been continuing to feel tight/crampy, and tightened up again after yesterday's run. It was a fair bit better today but decided to let it settle hopefully for good.

Nice run with Dave out to Craiglockhart. I had a nice plan to show him part of WoL and the canal, but got very lost instead. Embarassing GPS trace. Feeling good at running at least.
