Filthy weather today, pretty much had the Meadows to myself except for a quidditch match going on. Who knew that was a hardcore 'sport'??

Final session/test. I'd call this a taper session but when it's the hardest thing you've done in ages it's not really a taper...

2x 1km (~T but got too excited) in 3.07, 2x 400m 3k pace in 68, 66

Achilles was all good. Now I'm getting excited.

Stopped early as it wasn't entirely comfortable for my Achilles.

It was quite uncomfortable today doing just small bits of walking.

Spoke too soon.

Achilles started getting a bit achey in the second half of the run yesterday then didn't react great afterwards.

I'm frustrated not be able to get some nice normal running in leading up to World Games but at the same time not too worried as my shape can't have changed much since WOC.
