shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212 (Blue/Red)

British Sprint Relay Champs

3rd leg, silver for the team with Dave, Rose and Jenny. Great fun and good courses. A few poor routechoices and got thoroughly nettled at one point but ran an alright time and did my job closing some time on Shminty ahead.

Running (Road) 1:07:50 [2] 14.56 km (4:40 / km) +28m 4:37 / km
shoes: Inov8 X-Talon 212 (Blue/Red)

Nice run in the sun afterwards with Dave, Jenny, Aislinn and Tommy. Joined the latter for a bit of a pick-up at the end which felt good and was fun. Still unclear on whether it qualifies for raz status or not.

Rode decently hard out to North Berwick then got the train back. Punctured literally right at the end which was convenient in a way but had to clip clop all the way home from Waverly in my cycling shoes.

Note
(injured)

Warmed up for a T session but my achilles didn't feel good jogging around the meadows so had to bail. Balls. Hard to say whether this was more caused by trying to keep up with Tove's energetic dancing or by yesterday's long run in the Pentlands. Either way, mostly gutted that I'll have to miss Britain's most competitive hill race on Wednesday :(
5 PM
