half walk, half shuffle 30:00 [3] 1.0 km (30:00 / km)
Went with a friend up to Mt Lofty Botanic Gardens to see the autumn colours.
Although we got there relatively early at 10.30am (opened at 10) carparks were full and cars out to Piccadily. Luckily I pulled the disabled card and got a wheelchair access park near the lake.
Knew i could only aim to do a small lap of lake walk (about 1km) and was ok for about 3/4 with a few stops. Colours werent as colourful as streets in Stirling etc, so a bt disappointing, as were most of the sculptures on the walk.
Had a mobile coffee caravan.
Not suprisingly knee didnt like this prolonged excursion so I spent about 4 hrs in bed when i got home, despite it being a nice day.
pool exercise 1:15:00 [3]
Back to ARC at 5.30pm and it was deliciously free of people, as was closing at 7pm. Knee felt stiff thru most of this session but some exercises were more productive than normal.
Deb yesterday had told me that there are other bigger changerooms & showers out near the BB courts, so I went there afterwards, and they were empty and had no slip hazard, unlike pool ones.
