A little stroll with Zack to put out white controls in case anyone shows up who wants them. We saw the young bear we have been seeing the last few days on the hospital loop. He looked at us for a while, decided we were headed his way and so he loped off. This is getting a little annoying. Fine for these guys to come through, but I'd rather they not take up residence.

Bear sighting #5, this time strolling around on the deck in front of the family room.
A little workout I did from time to time in years past, but it used to go better. Three "hospital" loops with a rest in between. The running phase was 4:30, 4:22, 4:23. The typical past (a few years past) workout was 5, and I remember doing them at about a 3:20 pace at one time, then about 3:45 for quite a while, maybe most recently about 3:55 or 4. This was definitely a struggle. The bag of sugar is no help.

with Rhonda at the lake. Cut it short by a bit because Rhonda thought there would be a Francesca encounter, but that will be a bit later as it turns out anyway. Plenty to do around here in the next several days. Prep for o-meet, some general outdoor jobs, spend some time with Rhonda, Some of my dwindling number of work assignments, get my homework done for classes on Tues, Wed and Thurs. Also a trip early to NYC on Wed. It will be lively.
