a dog loop, first time running since we got back from Italy 5 weeks ago. Felt awkward and slow, but didn't particularly hurt. Thought about extending, but no point in rushing into it. Pleased that the bugs were not bad, although it was quite warm and humid. A lot of mowing today, too.

This morning I took the dog to the groomer, which took a bit of a while because she was reluctant to get out of the car.

Hogback loop. I got back from Lake George just before 4, so not a lot of time. This was just right. I had much better legs for cycling than I did for riding in the car, and felt loosened up after this, pretty strong all the way around.
