Morning class. Too tired and sore for this, really. So quit early and went back to drink coffee and nurse my knee.

Billygoat run with Rhonda in tow. My knee was fine last week in Cincinnati, but hurt from the start and got worse as the race went on. I guess the rockiness and uneven footing was a problem. Map very difficult for me to read, with lots of green and rocky ground overprinting, leading to a couple of mistakes, including a howler at 5 where I thought I was supposed to go up instead of down, and climbing a hill on the way to 13 that was not visible on the map for me. Finished pretty strong, though, doing some of the best work from 16 on in. Good to have Rhonda looking around, seeing other runners and picking up at least one flag.
