Orienteering 49:20 [4] 5.9 km (8:22 / km) +140m 7:28 / km

Colour coded at Tankersley.
I remember really hating the area last time but seemed nicer today.
Did blue which had lil butterfly loops across the road which was good and there was loadsa people doing similar things so good race/relay practice.
Didn't feel I was going really fast but no big mistakes :D
Will do analysis when I've put it on routegadget.

Weekend has really motivated me, proper pleased :)
Got this running log/training diary thing for xmas with like injury advice and stuff and it has loadsa quotes and this weeks was "Don't bother just to be better than your contemparies or predecessors. Try to be better than yourself". So I decided Im not going to think bout what other people are doing and how much training they are doing etc Im just gunna do as much as I can do to be successful :)

Orienteering warm up/down 10:00 [1]

WU: Not great really, just a lil jog round the car park and up the start. Stretching.
WD: Jog around car park.

U17 women -
Eeeekkkkk 3rd so so so so so happy :):)
Wanted to be top 8 to get the inter counties but did no way think id get a medal :D
Was just a really good race, kept pushing and overtaking and didnt tire until the finishing straight but I was ahead of 4th by a bit so twas okay :)
Ran with the U20's so was 6th overall.

WU: Loadsa running around for like an hour cos it was so cold! Strides and stretches at the start.
WD: More jogging round.

Core/Stretching 15:00 [1]

Stretching all over and myofascial roller on my calves when I woke up so I was all stretched out for xc :)

Running warm up/down 25:00 [2]

WU: 800m jog, drills and 3x80m strides.
WD: Stretching and jog back to car.

Core/Stretching 20:00 [2]

At training;
hurdle drills trying to hold the core in whilst doing step overs with hands above head and stuff - really hard!
Loadsa stretching for all parts of the body because it was freeeezing!

Running intervals 25:00 [4]

At the track.
-5 degrees! I have never been so cold whilst running in my life!
Continuous relay of 200m. Did 10 reps each.
Wasn't far but was meant to be aiming for 30seconds ish which turned out to be pretty hard.
Was nice to do some speed stuff as I hadnt done any in AGES!
