Orienteering race (Pelindaba Colour-Coded) 1:55:26 [4] *** 8.2 km (14:05 / km) +250m 12:13 / km

I did the brown course and boy did it give me my money's worth! Too many mistakes of a few minutes each, all very near to the control site. The terrain underfoot made running quite tough as well... one fall gave me a serious knock to the knee, which forced a slow limp/walk for a few minutes until the pain subsided. Hopefully the next one is a little more forgiving to motivate me again!

Morning ride from Kyalami estates to Northern Farm. I was on the other side of the pain this time... Craig and Ken pretty much buried me. Averaged about 24km/h for the first 40km and then I had to limp home... good training though!

Early morning run through Melrose - was intending to run 8.2km but had to walk the rest due to some pretty bad stomach cramps. Let's just say that eating a bowl of muesli and milk just before a morning run is not the brightest idea I've ever had... ugh.
