Back twinging last night and naff weather put me off going round the Glen of Terror - wrangled a nice 7 miles out of Latrigg instead.

Felt reasonably good, and no back problems. Mixed it up a bit and went out along the railway and up the long climb up the back, then to Gale Road, back up the zigzags and down the Tunnel of Love (which was really dark).

Short, icy lake loop in the morning. Quads felt better running than walking, and actually did some decent stretching afterwards.

Good lord but my DOMS are bad today, despite sleeping in Skins. Clearly not running much for a few weeks then doing the Tour of Gable was not a physiologically excellent idea. Fun though

Went to the Keswick AC core class as my right quad in particular was still too sore to run. Good lord this was hard work, but at least it wasn't using my legs.
