Nat A 6; Crap Sogn Gion - Curnius; D35 (8/18)
Very wet and cold. It was even difficult to stay warm while running, and the hands got almost too cold to hold the compas.
Nevertheless I enjoyed the course.
Had a really good run. The ranking does not really look like this, but only 8' down to Trix is not that bad (she also did mistakes though).
- bad route choice to 5 (30")
- small wobble to 7 (20")
- very bad route choice to 12 (2')

Very nice and tricky terrain.
Technically good run in the difficult part ;-)
but in the end, when it got easier again, I did not stay careful enough -> a mistake of almost 2' ;-(
Is it so difficult to believe that the race is not finished before the finish line?

winner: 17:07
Very detailed forest map on sprint scale (1:5000; 2.5m)
I moved with stop&go and therefore loose some time at the splits, but don't loose much with mistakes (still enough).
nr. 4: wrong direction and then a parrallel error with path-curve and green (~45")
nr 8: should run more direct (~20")
nr 12 and 13: slightly wrong direction (~40" together)

Berner Abend OL, Dählhölzli

mistake nr 1: the map was at 1:5'000 scale, and although I knew it, I run too far for the first few controls

mistake nr 2: because of the sprint character of the map, I started too fast till I realised that I would not finish in 20'

mistake nr 3: don't run straight even when it is white on the map! There are enough path' to run around - I did not learn it till the end

I hope, the organizers will not get into troubles, because they let us run through high grass. there were even areas with flowers, which were not forbidden on the map. Ok I hope nobody run through the flowers but the meadows were bad enough.
