(c) by Mikee: "Hiking up to Cerro Guanaco in the National Park of Tierra del Fuego. Good weather and very nice views over Ushuaia, the Beagle Channel and Isla Navarino."
This was not more, than we had done many times before, but I was really tired afterwards.

We went into the "Reserva National Tierra del Fuego", and pitched our tent in a pitoresque landscapa.
Mikee droped me off the car, so I could run "home" along the Sendero Costera: Very nice trail, and saw a lot of birds.

(c) Mikee: "This afternoon we went to the Pinguinera on Isla Martillo. We saw Magellanic and Gentoo Penguins. They were so cute!"

From Ushuaia, we drove up to a chairlift. The run up next to the chairlift took us 15 minutes - the same amount of time the drive takes ;-)
From the top, we went further up to the Glaciar Martial. The glaciar was not that spectacular, but the view down to Ushuaia and Beagle-Channel was stunning. Back down the same path.

Note

Two days of driving: El Calafate - Rio Gallegos - Chile - Ferry - Cerro Sombrero yesterday.
Cerro Sombrero - Argentina (San Sebastian) - Ushuaia today.
Not much else than driving, but we already booked our pinguin-trip for tomorow, jepee!

Climbed up to Cerro de los Cristales. Really nice hike, and from the top of the mountain we could see Perito Moreno Glaciar as well as Torres del Paine. If we won't be able to visit the Torres del Paine Park, we had at least a glimpse of them ...

Went to the really nice campground at Lago Roca. The jogging was along the border of Lago Argentino. Met lots of cows and horses.
