1 man relay set my dad. I was in first after the first loop (my map 2) but blew it on the second (map 3). John was 4 min ahead of me then... but I mae up a good bit on the last loop (map 1). The woods were a bit thick and ferny so I couldn't really get moving, and I had to keep watching out for my ankle which got rather annoying. I orienteered really well, though, no real mistakes and the one bad one I did make was justified...

Worked on contouring on the Dartmouth map. I did alright, but had trouble with a few. Sprained my ankle going to the last control :( I'm guessing it took a while to get back, though. I jogged a bit but sometimes it would just hurt too much.

Tough workout! Slowed down at the end :S 18:00 is if I do them at the right pace were definately hard though :( kinds depressing, really...

Got home and was about to get ready for intervals. I was tired though so I decided to take a quick nap. 3 minutes later, the phone wrang... Then it rang again. I finally got to sleep, but I didn't want to get up when the timer went off... In total, I'd guess I slept 3 1/2 hours... Then I decided to just take today off and do them tomorrow.

Did a 2.5k course twice. First time was orieneering, second was just do it as fast as I could, using my map or not. It was to figure out how fast I can orienteer. I didn' do very well... I should be 10% longer, but I was 50%... :S I worked on countouring a bit, it was ok, but coulda been better.

Was on the flat side this week. I felt alright but was definately a bit slow. The good runners were there this week (marathon last time). I hadn't run the course yet so I had no idea how far I was besides what my watch said for time.

Guessing at time but the run was good. I raced some bikers around the 5k course. I didn't do the full loop, probobly 3.5-4k (after 5k loop). But I beat the bikers on the uphills and tight single track. Oh, the finish sprint too!
