Attempted to download a movie off Netflix to pass the time and ended up having to try to read subtitles on my tiny phone screen because it was in French... rookie. I feel like I prefer the music anyway but maaaan the time goes slow indoors!
Think i've kind of got through the cranky stage of the injury (still cranky but at a normal level now) and now i'm in the 'do allll the cross training' stage. The easy week last week may have done some good! Hopefully this is all the same when uni starts next week too.

Had a super lazy morning so I couldn't stop yawning in the warm up. Ended up being a really hard session, enjoyed it!

I'm either just swimming slower each time so it feels easier, or i'm actually getting better at this! Still unsure about the swimming overtaking courtesy though...
Went and got a large blister from just walking, what a joke.

Leg still felt a little bit weird so I went for strength, may just walk later on I think. 10min on the rower and then a bit of everything. Got given loads of glute exercises as a long term prehab type thing. Also have a few foot strengthening exercises which I decided I will only be doing at home because it looks lazy as hell hahaha.
Advised to do another week of swimming and cycling and test with a run again next Tuesday to see how it's going. He did more dry needling in the back of my calf and some cupping which was super weird!
Evening laps. Had to fork out for a new pair of goggles because even they couldn't handle two swims in one week and snapped right in half. Same distance as the other time but in sets of 5 laps so I could 'try' to do it a bit faster. Arms died.
Cycle at the gym with intervals. Honestly think my body has already forgotten how to work hard, only half an hour and I was smashed... Did most of the class standing to ease the hammies but the pressure was a tad sore on the foot.
No good. Had to run through the pain to note when it warmed up and eased off which was about the 8min mark. Then thought i'd keep going for a while longer but I felt a few niggles and decided it was better to stop. It felt pretty alright yesterday, but it's bad again now. Going to do some shopping therapy now and buy new asics to cheer myself up.
