Absolutely disgusting day today, ridiculously humid and not a single breeze. Definitely wanted to have been a bit faster and it had the potential to be. Kept looking at my watch and seeing 4.05 so I don't really know where I slowed down so much... I did get a shocker of a start though which was a pain, people came out of nowhere with about a minute to go and squeezed in at the front and then just about walked from the get go, silly silly silly.

Was ready to train when I saw the like a version had been posted, so I planked while I watched it. I love it when it's not a 40+ degree day and the morning can be relaxing!!

20min warm up with some drills and the warm down

Running hills 22:15 [3]

New favourite hills session I think!
4x 60sec, 4x 45sec, 4x 30sec, 4x 15sec with run down recoveries. Mentally a really good one to push hard I felt, you can smash yourself in each set of four knowing that they all get shorter after! Pleased with it today too, I was getting further than I have before on the 60 seconders and was pretty consistent. Good day!

Up early for work but I've done absolutely nothing since. It's been amazing, and I think my legs needed it.

We actually played pretty well tonight I think! The loss doesn't feel too real because their GS was so tall he just had to place the ball through the hoop, so team morale is high. Full game at GD, preeeeetty fun

Had to come to Sydney this morning so it was a prime opportunity to test run Josh's course for the sprint series. A pretty cool map, super intricate and a tonne of stairs. Really fun! I was way too sloppy though, a bad mistake, some poor route choice, tired legs, a lot of stop starting and a heeeeeeap of sweat haha. Really nice to have done some Orienteering again though!!!

6*3/1. Absolutely shocking today. Legs were tired, it was a windy 35degrees at 8am, and the air was super dry. I just could not get myself going faster today :( I did it, but not very well...

Did a bit of spectating at the Hunter Track Classic last night which was cool! Races that go for three minutes seem like an absolute nightmare but they're fun to watch, some pretty amazing runners there!

Running long 1:40:00 [3] 18.82 km (5:19 / km) +146m 5:07 / km

So conflicted between wanting more sleep and wanting to not get heat stroke this morning. The first 20 was a struggle to wake up and the last hour was a struggle with the heat, don't think I've ever had such a prominent shorts tan from one run, or run for more than 5 minutes with my singlet off. Home to walka, with some looping at the start to get some hills and at the end to get the time. Happy with it!
