Absolutely buggered today. Took the track to number one and not enough of a warm up meant my legs legitimately felt lactic when I got there. The rest was a struggle, and then I lost extra time on 12 and 14. Pretty ready for a week of 15 degrees at Falls Creek!
Work again today so no 5days. Legs were heavy but I felt ok when I was going downhill or on the flat haha. Biggest problem was that my back was super sore from going under the scrub yesterday. So warm still after 7.30, this was enough.
''Twas a warm one again! A whole lot more stuff on the floor today and the vegetation was a fair bit thicker, got told I needed to get stronger by one of the Finnish guys and running near me at the end, completely fair though I was struggling to lift my legs at the end.
A bit of a shock to be back in the bush, I was preeeeetty rusty with my navigation. A whole heap of small mistakes, mostly with my exit direction and bearings.
Can't get to day 1 or 4 of the 5-days because of work so thismorning i did some intervals at walka instead.
Did 5x 4/1. Found it a tough one for a solo session, plus it was a really really still morning so it was a huge sweat fest. 2 and 5 had the most hills and you can tell in my pace. Legs felt a little worn already in the warm up so I was struggling by the end, very happy when that last minute ticked over.
