Preeeeetty pathetic from me today. Had more in mind but my back was crazy sore, actually struggled to walk up the driveway when I was coming home from work so instead of a proper session this ended up being like a warm up so I could stretch properly afterwards.

Handed in my last two essays for the semester and went straight to Newcastle for a celebratory run. From Merewether along the breakwall and back. Struggled a little the second time up King Edward, the breeze seemed to disappear and I started to really notice i was doing a lunchtime run. Don't seem to have gone any slower on the way back though even with a quick drink at a tap. Finished with a swim and am currently laying on the beach, the only slight downer was that my peach got a little warm in the car so a pretty perfect end to the semester I'd say!

Pretty hilly one at Macquarie Hills this week. Pelted down with rain 1min in and it felt super slippery underfoot with my new shoes so I was too hesitant to enjoy the downhill. Seems I had a pretty shocking route choice because my distance to points ratio was pretty bad, but glad I did the hills training wise so I'm not too fussed.

Morning run with dad from home around the Ashtonfield tracks. Legs were real heavy at the start but i'd only been out of bed for 10 or so minutes so i guess thats what you get. Had a pretty bad sleep so was completely fine with it being on the shorter side of a long run. Enjoyed it!
