Running warm up/down 27:16 [3]

Warm up and warm down with Jooooooooosh. Had a jacket on in the warm up, so nice! haha

Running race 22:24 [3]

Maitland parkrun. It's been a while but somehow I managed a 56 second pb, and did it like 26 seconds faster than i've ever done Newy Parkrun which is completely flat. So thats nice! Very consistent pace the whole way. Maybe I am actually getting better?!

Running warm up/down 32:52 [3]

Warm up and down to and from the hill and a few small drills

Running hills 28:32 [3]

4x long hills up one side to the water tower. Times were 2:04, 2:07, 2:08, 2:07. (Can't wait until i learn to not go too fast on the first interval...)
Then straight down the other side of the hill for 8 x 30sec intervals up the slightly steeper side.
Legs were pretty shot by the end of the long set so was wanting the short hills to be over with pretty quick. Tough session!

cycling 1:00:00 [3]

Wasn't super motivated to go and sit in a cycle class but my calves wanted a break from running. Was expecting a 45min class but it went long, and it was quite possibly the worst class i have ever done. Apparently we were doing pyramid and intervals but i'm yet to work out in what part of the class either of those existed. But still, my quads were burning so i guess it doesn't matter!

Running tempo 49:00 [3]

15min jog, 3x 7min tempo kinda efforts, 10min jog. Efforts were 1.49km, 1.47km, 1.48km, nearly the same climb in them all i would say. Soooo so so bad at knowing what pace i'm running but hopefully i'll get a bit more used to it. Breathing was a bit weird again today for some reason!

Running 10:00 [3]

Drills afterward. Started absolutely bucketing down as soon as we got home, timed it perfectly!

Strength + Conditioning (Yoga) 55:00 [3]

The instructor confessed he forgot last week was meant to be a beginners week so it wasn't too much harder this time. Even thinking about giving yoga it's own attackpoint colour!

Running warm up/down 30:46 [3]

15min warm up and down. With le drills.

Running intervals 24:00 [3]

8 x 400m on a 3min cycle. Times were 88, 88, 88, 89, 89, 90, 90, 89. Slowed a little on the second half of each but recovered well in the rests. Felt a bit unco today though, my breathing was a bit out of wack and my leg speed was all over the place!

Strength + Conditioning 50:00 [3]

A bit of everything outside in the sun. I can't make myself do uni work...

cycling 45:00 [3]

Cycle class at the gym. Hard class, enjoyed it!

Saw my old manager at work today and he asked me why I had so many scratches on my arms. Thats always fun...

Running warm up/down 10:00 [3]

Orienteering race 1:10:16 [3]

Newcastle OY at Dark Hills. Had little sleep and it was thick and slow so I didn't have much motivation or push. A bit pathetic on my part. Enjoyed the second half alot more than the first once i had gotten used to the fact it was tough and thick and i just had to man up a bit. Navigated alright apart from a few smaller errors. Far too hesitant and not confident for alot of the course though.
