Running 47:43 [3]

Went to Newy Parkrun because i thought it was about time i did some kind of time trial ish type thing. Was not particularly motivated for it especially considering how it went last time! Happy i went though i guess but really not the best week for a fast time, there was a shocking headwind between 1km and the turn around and then for the last km aswell. Plus i got a pretty bad start so i think i can take a good 5seconds off the time from that alone! I know i haven't done a whole lot of intervals but its kinda hard when i feel like im much fitter but i'm not at all faster. Anwyay ended up with around 23mins. 15min warm up and 10min warm down.

Really hot day and i thought my legs wanted another day off running so i went to the cycle class. Don't know if it's because its been so long or if it was just a really good class but man it felt tough!

Pretty pathetic effort out at the Chimney while the tapes were still out from the Dawson's on the weekend. I had next to no energy and my mind was super airy fairy. No shocking mistakes i just wasn't happy with my technique. Good to be out there i guess but i honestly thought it was going to get dark...

15min warm up

3x60sec hills then 3x90sec hills w/ jog down recovery and 4 min between sets. Wasn't suuuuuuper motivated to get out of bed and out the door early enough and was slightly worried i had left it too late and it would be too hot but it wasn't too bad. Plus I actually felt alright. Well stuffed at the end though.

Then 5min ish of physio drills before the jog home.

Park o final at Tighes Hill Tafe. Legs felt pretty tired after yesterday and it was relatively easy navigation and lots of running so it was not really my kind of race today. May have lost a bit on route choice i guess but i was just pretty gone after the map change, it felt so long!

10 min warm up and then some jogging to get controls at the end. Nice of the rain to stop!

Orienteering 19:10 [3]

Sydney Sprint series. Ridiculously tricky in the tunnel sections and i think impossible to feel good about control flow and navigation but god it was fun. Lost a minute and a half because i followed some other runners down what I thought was the path out of 24 but turned out to be really thick and took me to the wrong spot. Legs were not real fresh though so it was a bit of a slow time anyway. Thanks to Andy for the courses!
