cycling 20:00 [3]

Mum read the gym time table wrong so unfortunately when we turned up for the cycle class it was just about to finish. Chose to do some on the bikes to warm up a bit. Did some sections with the level higher for either a minute or two, so hard!

Running 15:00 [3]

Fifteen minutes on a treadmill feels so much longer than fifteen outside. I did it all at 5 minute km's or just under so the computer thing said. Calves got quite tight which was a shame.

Streeto at Valentine. I chose to go to the flat area first because i knew i'd be screwed for the rest of the run. Probably would've been a bit of a silly route choice because i ran further to get the points but my points doesn't really phase me, I just wanted to make sure i ran the whole time.
My left foot when numb again which may be a bit of a worry, it's so frustrating! No pain in the operated leg which was nice considering i ran up all the hills too :)

Two slow laps, then some drills on the ladder and such.

Running 21:00 [3] 2.4 km (8:45 / km)

8 x 300m, one every 3 minutes. I so much regretted eating a heap of crap during the day because i was home bored. All were to be between 72 and 75. I only got three down to 72 unfortunately, not my best today.

Warm Down 7:30 [3]

Ended up just being another two laps. Tried doing some drills but there was a little bit of a twinge in my leg and it was worst when i was on my toes.
Some push ups and sit ups too at the end.

Orienteering (Camp Champs) 37:18 [3] 3.4 km (10:58 / km)

So so so happy, first bush course and i completed it all with no problems with my leg. I ran up the hills too! :D
Made mistakes on number one and nine. One was because i just didn't go far enough, and then on number nine i was pretty on track i just got distracted and lost a bit of concentration and drifted too far to the right. Got stuck in so much green on the way to the last one too, i couldn't even see it on the map!
Really good course though, so much fun :D

Really really pleased with my navigation in the buildings, especially because i was blinded each time i looked up from my map. Definitely lost my time in the open running sections, a lot of it was being cautious too, i'm still not super confident on rough ground i don't think.

Definitely not a great time, but this was actually the first time i had run 3km's straight so i was just happy i got through it. Very tired by the end, it felt so hard to push it any harder in the last lap or so. I have a lot of work to do!

Orienteering (Sprint Training) 24:50 [3] 3.1 km (8:01 / km)

Four loops around Hunter River High. The first three were nice and short, i was a bit devastated when i picked up the last one and saw how long it was. My legs were definitely shot form the 3km just before. My left foot ended up numb by the end, and every time i bent down to pick up my new map i got a pain right where my scar is. It was a bit of a worry thats for sure. Didn't hurt that much when i was running which was pleasing though.

Street Orienteering 39:51 [3]

I ran the majority of it! :D It may not have been super fast, or long as i didn't have a watch, and there were some steeper hills i had to walk up, but it's still the longest i've run since the operation! :D Pretty excited by that. I did feel a tad ill in the beginning though, mum and i ate too much on the car trip :P

The chickens followed me for the first part of the warm up, they thought i had their food. This was just around the property, it was so warm so early! :(

Running 14:00 [3] 3.0 km (4:40 / km)

30 x 100m. Probably the least enjoyable session i've ever done, counting down from 30 was the worst! There were some small hills in my 100m walked out track so that was interesting. All were between 24 and 28 seconds, majority were around 26 i think. I don't have a ventolin with me here so i got super tight in the chest, and i may have vomited a tad at the end :|

Warm Down 5:00 [3]

Pretty buggered so this ended up being shorter than it probably should've been. Just laps around the grass area again.

cycling 45:00 [3]

A cycle class at the gym with my cousin. It wasn't the same schwinn cycle as at home it was called RPM, and i didnt enjoy it to be honest. I think the whole point of the class was to pedal fast but there is no way you could pedal as fast as she wanted and have any resistance on your legs. It was pretty ridiculous to be honest. I worked hard though so it was still beneficial.

Gym 55:00 [3]

We then did the pump class after the cycle with my aunty. It was a mix of arms work, squats and lunges, and then abs. I can't believe how weak my arms are! They were shaking they were hurting so much! I struggled doing the lunges with my left foot forward, i think it was just the pressure on my foot while i was on my toes but it was nothing too bad. The abs was definitely my favourite :)

A ride to Coles to get food for the week. The way back i had a 2 litre carton of milk, a container of ice-cream and chicken. This definitely made the hills a tad tougher!

Note

A 40 minute walk in the afternoon with the dog. I would properly log it but i don't want to give josh another opportunity to call me fat! We got absolutely drenched from the rain, it was actually nice though :)

Running 23:00 [3]

I'm at Coffs Harbour with my cousin so i went with her :D She got a bit exhausted though and ended up yelling out to me when to run and when to stop because she had the watch, ha.
I did the same as yesterday: run for 3 minutes and then walk for one. It was a bit hilly so i had to walk up a steep one during one of the jog sections, but i went for longer so it was all good. I ran up slight hills today! :D Still all on the grass though.

Celebratory run for finishing year 10 :)
I didn't really know what to do today but i wanted to make sure i did something before we headed off to Coffs because i feel shocking for not doing anything for two days.
I ended up just going for a jog. I'd run for 3 minutes, walk for 1. I went down to the bottom area so i was on grass and could then run for the full three minutes. I stopped after i had done 15 of running though because my calves were getting really quite sore. The rest of the time was walking home.

It was strange to have to wear a jumper on my warm up! Just one lap and then some drills.

Running 24:00 [3] 2.4 km (10:00 / km)

Today it was 6 x 400's. Times were: 1:41, 1:40, 1:42, 1:42, 1:45, 1:43
Felt pretty buggered but i suppose thats a good thing. No pain just small twinges every now and then which was fine.
It was lovely to get to breathe in smoke from the lovely Metford residents chilling at the skate park :|

Warm Down 8:00 [3]

Did a lap but then in the drills i felt some pain so it wasn't a real long warm down.
Stretching after was so nice!

I was a tad worried about walking and running again today as it got a tad tender from yesterday and friday. So 3 of my pilates sets seemed like a good decision. My goodness it hurt.

Orienteering 3:30:00 [3]

Walking and a tiny bit of jogging around out control sites for the 5-days. Didn't start off too good when Rhiana and i managed to find a spider web to walk through about 10m from the car :| but with out sticks constantly waving in front of us for the rest of the time we braved it out.

Pretty happy with it all :)

Stretching 20:00 [3]

A well needed stretch sesh while i was laying on the ground getting the christmas tree set up. The tree looks fabulous if i do say so myself :)

Run throughs and drills and what not. Everything felt good. It's so frustrating that i can't move my legs real quick :|

Running 20:23 [3] 3.0 km (6:48 / km)

3 x 1km's every 7 and a half minutes. The first was 5:13, the second 5:18 and the last 5:23. So they weren't real quick at all... but i was not to concentrate on the time but just finishing it all.
It definitely got tighter but no real pain or anything do that was great! :)

Warm Down 5:00 [3]

Had to cut it short because my leg didn't like the drills this time around. I think it was just being on my toes for the backwards and the cross overs.
