Very easy effort from home because i just really wanted to. As much as i dont want to admit this to dad im not sure it was the greatest of ideas, just because it was already pretty warm out. I feel better because i did something though and now i have all day to recover!

I got sick so this is the only exercise ive done since wednesday and i do not feel good about it. Just did the ab challenge and then a mix of other strength. I like to think ill wake up tomorrow feeling fantastic!

Orienteering 43:06 [3]

Sydney sprint series at Carlingford. The first two km were good and I felt alright running but it kind of went downhill from there. Got a little stuck on two of the bush tracks and lost quite a bit of time having to cross the watercourse in the green but I was just running sooo so bad! Legs were feeling very slow and sore :( also developed a bit of a cough today but that's most likely just lack of sleep

With Jacqui and Bun! I wanted to run out to the jetty aswell but turns out we sat around a little longer than we thought in the morning and had to go back to get off the campsite... Good finish to the trip though :)

Was introduced to PT Mary and supervisor Jacqui! Got absolutely covered in sand but the improvisation and quick thinking of dragging seaweed as part of the workout was inspired. May have to start doing skype strength at the beach! ;)

Orienteering 29:18 [3]

Sprint into spring! Picked up my map on the wrong side so was a little confused for a minute at the start and then got tricked by number two so wasn't the greatest start. Kinda frustrated by all the tricks and pretty annoyed to miss punch, very very stupid error! Really fun and tricky area though so I did enjoy myself.

Orienteering 1:02:57 [3]

Joined the Keys and Thor and eskil on a trip to Wangaratta for the day and went training on the Northern Spurs map. It was really good! I did a bit of a compass specific loop and then a course. Not too happy with a few controls but I think without flags my confidence was pretty low. So good to go orienteering though!!

Ran around Mary's my Macedon loop with her Cecilie thor and eskil, it was nice! Legs were feeling kinda tired at the end but I guess that's to be expected considering it's like up there with one of the longest runs ive done time wise.

Made today a rest day. I went for a walk this morning (/occasional jog because it got really boring) to loosen up my legs a bit and my lower calf was feeling a little tender. It just feels a bit tight or something so i think it'd warm up alright but will probably be good for it to have a break

At Glenrock with Macey and Josh. Did a bit of a different loop this week which was cool! My legs were feeling a little tired after yesterday though so the little bit of sand running and crap load of stairs were a little tough. Happy enough with how i was feeling at the end though, listening to the guys talk about Taylor Swift is a quality distraction!! Nice morning for it

Decided to go to maitland parkrun! Got a pretty bad start, everyone loves being up the front there haha. km's three and four were shockers, i slowed down waaaay too much and could feel the little pinches alot more today. Surprised to have a pb though, think i ended up with 23.19 from when they started their clock.

Today was so ridiculous! I walked home from work at 10.30 and it was already 30something degrees and out car said 42degrees at like 4pm... I waited until after 7 to run but it was still pretty bloody uncomfortable so 30mins was good enough.
I stopped to knock at a door to let them know they left their headlights on on the car out the front, kinda hoped they'd give me a glass of water as a reward, but also kinda didn't want to get drugged or kidnapped so it's all good. Got home and josh cooked dinner for us - housewife of the year.

Streeto at Elermore Vale. Nice and hilly but i didnt feel toooooo bad. Made a few stupid decisions so i think i couldve got maybe an extra two pointer but oh well. For sure shouldn't have been late though!

Went for a nice little day trip to the bay with Cecilie. Started the run straight up Mt Tomaree to get the legs burning for a good 9 mins, then around some extra tracks there and through the bush for a little bit because we're gnarly and missed the 'please keep to tracks' signs, and then a bit extra around shoal bay. Apparently id been up there as a kid but i didnt remember it so i felt like just as much of a tourist as she was! Good day :)

Didn't have time to go to Glenrock with the others before work so i ran with dad from home to stop him whinging about me ditching him. I think i started thinking about being finished a bit too early on so the last 15-20mins were a little rough, not so much my legs i just felt a little sick in the stomach. Pretty interested to work out how much climb is in this run!

Streeto at Mayfield in a crazy storm. Kinda fun but pretty bloody scary to be honest! Mistook a huge fence around a property for the school so I thought I'd missed my turn and went back but turns out I would've been right so I just wasted a heap of time and didn't actually end up getting the points, silly silly silly! Felt pretty comfortable running though which is cool!

Handed in an assignment this morning so i celebrated with a nice run along the breakwall, around to newcastle beach and then along the foreshore walk. The last km at least was straight into the wind but at least it was cool enough for running, crazy how noticeably hotter it is at home! Legs feel a little exhausted now after yesterday too so ill make sure i have a good stretch later on.

At Glenrock with Josh, Tazza, Macey and Daniel. Super morning for it and 100 x better with company! Stopped at the car after the bigger loop for a quick drink and then did another little loop. Felt like I struggled to get enough air in on the uphills toward the end but the blisters are just about good now after wearing my old orthotics again :) Oh and the legs were feeling a little tired from yesterday at some points...

Ultra sprint in Sydney, awesome fun. Started off with loop 1 and definitely did not expect it to be that tricky! I was waaaaay too blasé with the tree's and then got there and saw multiple controls and had no idea. Then i did loop 3 followed by loop 2 and they were much better, loads of fun. Legs felt super heavy on the last one!
