New Years Day at newy - first volunteer session of a double header

big turnout for the second event in the double header - nearly 650 finishers so a busy day for the barcode scanners ( including me) - one good thing about the run on the sand is that with few people wearing shoes there are not many id tokens attached to shoe laces, so almost no bending over.
Set-up included sun shelter for the scanners in the finish chute,so a very busy but comfortable task.
