orienteering race (NOY2) 1:43:00 [3] *** 3.0 km (34:20 / km) +60m 31:13 / km
spiked:4/7c weight:73kg shoes: HH2+crutches

NOY2 Bluegum Hills RP - mod (very) short - dropped last few controls to meet course closure
very slow in lower parts of gullies and water-courses, with lots of leaf litter and tangly small vines on ground

problems with first 2 controls - to #1 was effectively running on edge of map and what would have been very good attackpoints not shown - ended up 15m down main watercourse below control, saw course setter's tape but not control flag until Joy ran through.
#2 - attackpoint at track junction but cut in too hard , was pushed around by lantana thickets, and ended up trying to find control one bend away from site - took 10 minutes to get back to control after I made mistake of going into water course - clearer than top of banks, but had to get up slippery muddy bank on hands and knees.
-rest of course easier, but running out of time after time spent on #1 & #2, so cut course short.

Routegadget - added my own unofficial course
