walking (Drummoyne) 33:00 [1] 1.55 km (21:17 / km)

to Whitworths on Victoria Rd to look for some fastenings for repairs to the wave-ski footstraps.

Boating has been described as "pouring money into a hole in the water" and a chandlers like Whitworths is where a lot of the money goes. I think as the size and complexity of the shiny stainless and nylon object varies from a basic 4cm washer the price goes up exponentially!

After not finding the solution to my problem it looks like a 10c cable-tie will work perfectly well.

walking (CooksRiver parkrun) 39:59 [3] 2.56 km (15:37 / km) +10m 15:19 / km
shoes: armcrutches

one loop of the CooksRiver parkrun in Sydney while tt did her 99th parkrun on the 2 loop course - a very pleasant walk along the river on a beautiful morning.

The alarm went off this morning at 6am as the first of the planes on their KSA landing approach flew overhead. Its a very good 6am alarm, but very difficult to change or turn off!

Now to prepare for Astrid's first birthday party - a big event for proud & happy grandparents (and Astrid, Marian and Andrew too)
