Orienteering (Wattle Ridge) 1:31:00 [3] **** 5.1 km (17:51 / km) +180m 15:10 / km
ahr:151 max:182 spiked:8/13c rhr:52

Had a really disappointing run. Caught AlexM on the way to 4 which we both stuff up, we were still together at 5 which we got alright, but then it was 6 next and that when we parted and I stuffed it. Took 25min on that control then from that I had pretty bad legs on the next 3 controls. On 7 lost my contact a bit and probably didn't really get it back properly till going to 10.

Running warm up/down 15:00 [3]

Did the most of it with Alex.

Note

NO more School for the term. Woooh. Not going to be logging anything for about 2 weeks cause I'm on a school excursion then straight of to the Aus champs

Running 14:49 [3] 3.78 km (3:55 / km)
shoes: Nike Air Alaris

The start of the 'Earl Page Collage Coast Run'. Ran with Boahdan.

Running long (EPC CR Deer Vale) 1:13:30 [5] 16.3 km (4:31 / km)
shoes: Nike Air Alaris

The full thing is 20 or 21 km. Ran the first 16 and a half km to a bridge and then stopped and walked because I don't want to be shattered for this weekend. Sort of went slowly faster each km till 10 km (took about 42:16) was running fairly well till about 12km and then was starting to slow down as I got to 14km (spot on the hour) and really had slowed down those last few km cause my legs had started to loose there power and flexiblity. 5km took me about 22:45ish. Boahdan smashed me (well at least I think so anyway, cause I didn't see him too much but there were lots of corners).

Walk/Jog/Stretch, Etc. 30:00 [3]
shoes: Nike Air Alaris

From the bridge I started walking up the hill (which lasts the next 5km) and I kept going till about the 19.5km mark where I sat down and did some stretchs waiting for mum and dad to come along in the car. Kept going after that till about the 20km mark

Orienteering (Night O) 1:01:20 [3] *** 3.5 km (17:31 / km)
ahr:127 max:164 spiked:1/17c shoes: $40 O'Shoes

Really couldn't orienteer well, partly I think because I couldn't see very far with the torch I had so I had to pretty much hit the feature, know I was on the right one and scavenge for the control. Sort of enjoyed it, just couldn't do very well. Not quite sure of the distance because it was a score event and I missed 3 controls cause of the time limit, and I lost 2 points : (

Note

Got me some (nearly) mad tights! And yes they are girls tights, one pair goes just about the knee and the other is full length which I'm thinking of cutting bit lower because I couldn't find any in between those two to be just below the knee to give me the protection there but without being to long and hot. Also got some big navy shorts.

Kung Fu 1:00:00 [3]

Running warm up/down 10:00 [3]

Running (Cross Country) 5:08 [4] 1.45 km (3:32 / km)
shoes: Nike Air Alaris

A bit of a disappointing run because my legs just didn't have the power in them for a good run. Last run of the season.

Note

Went down town to look for some tights and socks, but only ended up gettin the socks so far, best I could find nearest to tights were skins which I think have a bit too short on the legs and be a bit too expensive to have in a rippable environment. Going again tomorrow but to different stores which I think might have more what I want. The socks are good though

Dancing tempo (School Social) 30:00 [4]
shoes: New Balance

Pretty sure I build up more of a sweat from dancing then I do running, sort of gross a bit of the time. Probably the extra heat and also probably the heap of jumping and stuff. The social went for 3 hours but I didn't quite get that much dancing in. It was hectic, and fun. The DJ didn't put on Something Good, 08 (the running man) though and we requested it about 20 times, cause we wanted to get the whole triangle dance thing happening. Oh well.

Running (To Kung Fu) 6:36 [4] 1.78 km (3:42 / km)
shoes: New Balance

Kung Fu 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: New Balance

Basketball (Semi Final) 40:00 [4]
shoes: Nike Air Alaris

Lost, but that's sort of alright because me and a friend aren't going to be here for the final so our team would only of had 4 players. Our shooting was also pretty awful while the other team got heaps and one of there players didn't seem to miss a shot, and he was taking a fair few 3 pointers in the first half. One cool thing is though, that I got a pretty awesome 3 from nearly half way between the 3 point line and half way.

Walk/Jog/Stretch, Etc. warm up/down 20:00 [3]
shoes: New Balance

Running tempo (Fartlek) 24:00 [4] 5.43 km (4:25 / km)
ahr:176 max:185 shoes: New Balance

Tried a fartlek session. Did really bad and I'm feeling pretty flat, I think the last two days are catching up with me (although yesterday wasn't too hard, It was a little more then I should have done recovering), so I'm not going to Kung Fu tonight instead concentrating on assignment and recovery.
The session went like this ( / = hard and * = recovery jog):

1/, 1*, 2/, 1*, 3/, 2*, 4/, 2*, 3/, 1*, 2/, 1*, 1/.

lets just hope you can understand that. My movement felt really slow and laggy and I think an early night will be good if I can get enough assignments done quick enough. Felt really cold for a bit but now i'm rugged up in clothes and I'm starting to feel better.
