Pretty miserable run up Stob a Choire Odhair. Very wet, misty and windy and my legs felt rubbish. Originally planned to carry on to Stob Ghabhar but that wasn't happening given the conditions.

Helping the Gordon-Becketts compleat their first Munro round and Sarah O'Neil start her second on Buachaille Etive Beag. Feeling a bit better. This was mostly a walk with plenty stops, but I did run the descent so it counts as training.

Note

Q3 interim statement.
Significant headwinds over the last quarter have led to an unplanned reduction in mileage. 2645 miles in 273 days for the year gives a miles to days ratio 3.2% behind earlier guidance. The outlook looks more positive with injuries, illness and lethargy dealt with and a return to flatter running likely to reap more consistent returns. While the stretch target of 4000miles/year is unlikely to be met the central goal of 3650 looks achievable.

(sick)

Woke up with cold and decided no hill run today. Felt better by lunchtime so headed up to Drumochter for a potter. Managed a mile before my body completely lost interest. Meh.

Beinn a'Chlachair to compleat this area. Nice path climb then a dreary rock strewn plateau to get to the summit. Zero visibility so rather than enduring the plateau on the return trip took a more direct line off the north eastern side.

Bit of a plod around the Creag Meagaidh range. Dropped off by mum and dad at the west end then met them as the topped out on my 4th Munro. No clear summits all day but some nice views lower down. Pretty slow.
