Just how awesome is Chepls? Proud to have been a small part of his wedding run. I managed to score one of the best sections - Leven to Elie, along the old route of the Ship Inn Shell Bay Sandy Slither race, pottering along through sand dunes and beaches. I was knackered enough after this - he'd had a 35 mile warm up and then did another 23 afterwards!

Orienteering 55:00 [3] 11.0 km (5:00 / km)
shoes: Adidas Swoop #11

Festive Frolic, Vogrie. I got unlucky with the geocaching score event format meaning I probably got a bonus mile or two in relative to JT and Catmur. C'est la Frolic.

Cycling 50:00 [3]
shoes: Bike: Trek 1.9

Cycled into town to meet Tessa. Was going to cycle home with her but it was too cold going at MTB pace on the road bike so put the hammer down to warm up and got a shower in before she got back.

Christmas ParkRun + WU/WD. No idea how I would feel at speed so cruised out. Still went through the first two km at a decent pace (6:20 at 2km) and got into the lead at 3km. Did enough to hold that to the finish but the pace dropped significantly as we piled into the wind - I can't blame it all on that though!

Overdid it a bit with this one. I thought that trimming the Frogston 10 loop a little would give me a nice hour run but neglected to factor in how out of shape I feel, particularly when going up hill. Hence the extra 15 mins and inflamed knee afterwards.
