SEDS mass start gaffled sand dunes and snow sprint training. Great fun. Made a couple of misses when in the lead which let JT get the W. Couldn't quite catch Spongey in the home straight so finished 3rd.

MOR Findhorn event. Gorse/Sand dune/urban mix. Took safe route on the long leg and used the time to plan ahead to the urban section but still missed a route and a turning. Maybe not worth the sacrifice - would still have had some time to plan ahead on the more direct route for long leg.

Phorp middle distance training. Trains style courses but generally running on my own. Trying to get the trains intensity & focus without the competition, something I struggle with in middle distance which was really brought home to me in NZ wcup races. (e.g. 4mins down in 25 min prologue, 3mins down in 40 min head to head chase - both runs slightly scrappy).
Today though it was difficult to get the intensity up over the rough snow covered ground. Navigation good on 4/5 sections though.

A roughly square run from work. The three other points were Crawford Bridge, by Easter Road stadium, Crawfurd Road near Cameron Toll and The Crescent in Morningside. Chilly but no snow yet.
