Up Duddon Valley to the junction between Hardnott and Wrynose passes which both claimed to be closed. Started towards Wrynose but quickly turned back - wet ice a less than ideal cycling surface.

Lap of Coniston Water while the squad trained on Torver. On Tessa's MTB rather than my road bike so speed not high but effort reasonable.

Long hills exercise bike routine. Fighting Talk podcast made it bearable.

Gentle spin. Ankle was feeling good so did some little jogs (5m) in the gym but it didn't feel comfortable and had flared up again on Friday morning.

Faffing in the gym intervals 1:00:00 [3]

Spinny spin spin. 30 minutes of 90/30 plus warm up plus some commutercize. Was getting heart rate up to the mid 170s by the end so it must have been doing some good!

Walked up Arthurs Seat at lunch time and ankle didn't feel too bad. Definite progress being made.

Experimenting in the gym. 25 minutes on exercise bike, OK; 15 minutes on cross trainer, niggly.
