Ran too fast. Didn't read map. Ran into tree. Bled. Chased Oleg. Cocked up. Jogged it home. Got patched up. Went to airport. Waited 4 hours. Flew home. Went to A+E. Waited an hour. Got stitched up.

Found a real nice path on the north side of the campus. Fresh dry woodchip on the ground, almost bouncing along.

Two sprint courses round Heriot Watt (from Scottish Sprint Champs 2007). Mostly pretty good - reading descriptions for most controls and planning routes in advance, but got caught out by uncrossable hedges a couple of times so need to be more alert to them.

Had the plan of going to Saughton to do a 3km time trial but realised halfway along the canal I was on a hiding to nothign trying to do anything fast in the hurricane we were getting blasted by. Took a left instead and looped over Craiglochart before bumping into Stewie on the way home.
