Running 55:00 [3]

Running drills and interval session for the Muir of Ord Jog Scotland Group. 26 people of all abilities turned up to the all weather pitch at Dingwall Academy. Very cold but perfect for training. Managed to keep them all busy!

Running 1:55:00 [3]

Up and down the quarry road which is still very icy so back in my o shoes.

Thursday Jan 21, 2010 #

Run around Evanton and Katewell. Still ice on the back roads.

Running 31:30 [3]

Ice everywhere, so back up and down the road a couple of times after work.

Sunday Jan 17, 2010 #

Running 37:00 [3]

Easy run around Evanton on the roads. Still not much choice ice everywhere.

Saturday Jan 16, 2010 #

Running 1:50:00 [3]

Slush, deep snow, ice, deep streams, you name I ran in it. From the Boath road behind Fyrish then along the top track. No one had been along it so 35 mins of really hard going in deep very soft snow. Didn't manage the full route, cut home at the valley.

Running 39:00 [3]

Back on the road up the glen. Up & down x 3

Running 29:00 [3]

Couldn't bear another run in my O spikes so opted to run up and down the only bit of black road in the village (up the glen) that is reasonably quiet at night. Probably only 3/4 mile up until the tracks turned to ice so up and down I went several times.

Sunday Jan 10, 2010 #

Running 1:00:00 [3]

Water station run. Walked jogged up and ran down. Bitterly cold last night and today. Ice everywhere.

Saturday Jan 9, 2010 #

Running 2:20:00 [3] 13.1 km (10:41 / km) +450m 9:07 / km

Fyrish and back on the hill race route but avoiding the worst section. Plan was to walk the ups and "run" the flats and downs. Well I know its been snowing but I didn't realise quite how deep up the hill actually was. One trod all the way up and plenty mist so rather spooky and really hard work. Deep, deep soft snow. Managed some "running" on the way down. For the record 85 up 55 down.

Tuesday Jan 5, 2010 #

Running 24:00 [3]

Headtorch run in the snow, calf playing up so cut the run short.

Monday Jan 4, 2010 #

Note

Back to work :(

Rest day.

Sunday Jan 3, 2010 #

Running 24:00 [3]

Easy run in the woods.

Saturday Jan 2, 2010 #

Friday Jan 1, 2010 #

Running 44:00 [3]

Run in deep snow, the stuff just keeps on coming, with Lorna a good way to start the New Year.
