Easy, easy recovery ski.

The most sore bit? Forearms. And my arches.

Nordic (skating) race 3:00:00 [5] 50.0 km (3:36 / km)

Neljän Vuoren Hiihto. What would have been a fast 50k 3 days ago turned into a much tougher slog thanks to a ton of new snow. Thanks to the classic race going first the classic track was much faster than skating, so there was a lot of double-poling happening as well.

Took it really easy and calm in the beginning for the first 20, and then found myself in a group with two older dudes and we slowly gained on as many as 5 more people using the process of:

1) They master-blaster-ize all over the place. In Finnish.
2) I try to inject some sort of calm into the ski by taking the lead, thereby dragging them around the course for 5-6km.
3) They proceed to master-blaster-ize past me for 500-600m.
4) They slow to take a "drink" and say its my turn again.

Ugh. Its like the Birkie. But Finnish.

Had lots of work to do, but snuck out for a wax test before Neljän Vuoren Hiihto tomorrow. 3 weeks of nice, hard, old snow, and it has to drop 10cm the day before.

14 x 1 minute at 63 frequency. I totally don't get how Racefox measures its frequency, I swear I'm double poling at every single beep. I SWEAR.
