Running 1:10:00 [1] 13.41 km (5:13 / km)
shoes: Saucony Mirage

Brisk run around the river valley before the shop. I don't know if it was just today, but I am honestly feeling a bit more comfortable with my higher pace running. Hopefully it will reflect nicely when I get off snow and onto the road and my F-ING FOOT STOPS BEING F-ING SORE. FOX CREEK.

Seriously.

Cycling 45:00 [1]

Managed a double down on my trainer after the shop as well. My trainer is literally disintegrating, the plastic keeps cracking for some reason and the spinny thing gets out alignment and starts grinding every now and then. I have to prop it up partly with a box. Oh well, its got lots of miles on it, I suppose.

Nordic (skating) 1:45:00 [3] 28.88 km (3:38 / km)

Awesome ski out at SWC. It was again pretty slow, especially as the day worn on, but it was warm and mostly sunny so I was out just in tights and a shirt with the sleeves rolled up. Did 6 x 10 minutes w/ 3 minutes off. Lots of one-skate, which made me rotator cuffs pretty sore. I've noticed that a lot lately, I wonder if its the extra 2.5cm on my poles? I'd also be interested to experience the snow speed if I had showed up early before starting to melt. Could've been rocket!

Nordic (skating) 45:00 [3] 10.87 km (4:08 / km)

A light and slow ski around Victoria with some arms only. It was slow because now the snow is melting a bit and the snow is turning slushy. That sucking sound makes for some pretty slow glide.

Nordic (skating) 1:25:00 [3] 16.91 km (5:02 / km)

Skate intervals at Goldbar, 4x4 minutes. Again, pretty fast, and the conditions were pretty good. Extended the loop so we did some flat on part of the lake. Attempted to one skate up the new haring bone hill during the intervals, the first time around that was surprisingly good. If you keep your speed up you can get most of the way up on glide alone. Paul said I put a solid 10 meters on him with that effort, though I added quite a few millimol of lactic acid too.

Nordic (skating) 1:05:00 [1] 15.22 km (4:16 / km)

A light skate around Victoria park. Conditions were quite good, nice and firm, though naturally quite rutted and rough as well. Alternated between long glides and legs only.

Running 55:00 [1] 10.5 km (5:14 / km)
shoes: Saucony Mirage

Another brisker run after work. This time a bit longer.

Unfortunately, due to a month of running in January combined with a lot of barefoot walking/sandals (curse you, beaches!), I have formally re-opened the "injured" category with my plantar fasciitis, though this time its in the other foot. This run had some pretty sustained pain. Ouch. However, I refused to spend all that money on a chiro for ART again. I won't do it. I WONT!

I will take any crackpot theory you've got.
