Headed out for a ski at SWC. Conditions were merely okay, but also paaaaainfully slow. It took a mere 11 minutes to have a run in with a moose, which I only noticed when it was running full speed in the opposite direction. I'm just glad it was away and not towards. When I went over the crest of the hill it had stopped and was looking to see if I was still coming, saw me, and then started running away again. Am I that terrifying? Must be the extra 2.5cm on my skate poles.

And....we're back! Mostly. Started to feel pretty okay, so aimed for the Christmas eve shop workout to have my return. Felt kind of on and off during the workout, which was a 46 min "best aerobic" workout. At first, felt kind of tired, but by 30 minutes I had perked up quite nicely, although my legs started to feel a tad fatigued. Still, finished with a "well, that was pleasant" feel, which is probably ideal.

Spent the rest of the day getting my skis together, and they're now all finished and ready to ski on. Naturally, all the snow is gone. Did I mention it was +4?
