Running 50:00 [3]

Nice easy run up loxley, with a bit of a wander around Stannington to finish. Legs a bit tired and not quite as sprightly today, but lovely evening.

Running 2:00:00 [3]

Long run with my sister on a route suggested by my Dad - from the southern end of the Long Mynd, past the gliding station, over pole bank, and down the Shropshire way to Church Pulverbatch. Fantastic day, great views, and Dad supplying drinks at various points along the way!
Rather predictably, we got a bit competitive on the first hill, and ended up running hard - in fact, I spent most of this run at a pace I would consider my race pace (quite tempted to log it as effort 4, but surely only a numpty goes on a effort 4 training run for 2 hours....). Julia strung me out on the road and flatter trail sections, but I pushed her hard on the steep hills....
Totally shattered now! One of my favourite runs of the year though, and a real treat to be running in Shropshire with my sister :-)

(rest day)

Another rest day, this time spent in sunny Wolverhampton!

Running 1:15:00 [3]

Nice evening run around the river and rea brook in Shrewsbury - haven't done this route for about 10 years, and as a result got a bit lost! (I know, how hard can it be to follow a river?!). Legs tired.

Note
(rest day)

Not a very restful rest day, but a great chance to view some of the olympic park and help make 2,500 pancakes...

Running 1:03:00 [3]

Early morning run (not my favourite) as couldn't fit one in otherwise with work and travelling today. Really nice morning - think I got the best of the weather. Feeling fairly slow, but no surprise after the weekend and time of day.
