Running - Road 14:36 [2] 3.17 km (4:36 / km) +70m 4:09 / km
ahr:152 max:165 (injured) shoes: Asics Gel Cumulus

Quite a disappointing run, after about 3 minutes i could feel my right hip was quite sore but i carried on for a few minutes. Didn't think it was really worth carrying on because I couldn't push hard anyway so would have been a waste of time.

Really good race, i hesitated a bit at the beginning but got into a good flow and enjoyed it.

Note
(rest day)

My legs are pretty tired today, cycling in to uni and back was tough. Decided to have a day off before the race tomorrow.
I feel good now that i've got back into training properly, hope i keep it up.

ahr:165 max:178 spiked:15/19c shoes: Adidas - Swoop 2 #2

Braid Hills planned by Spongey, it was a good course and really nice with the snow. straight line 5k
S-1 i was hesitant but got it fine,
1-2-3 fine
3-4 i took the lower route and wasn't sure if i was in the right area so i faffed around a bit, then found the big crag and the control which was slightly in the wrong place but i think simon is probably the only person to go to the correct site (the middle of a gorse bush) 3mins
4-5-6 fine
6-7 i started going towards 12 then realised, when i got to the area i went too high because the gorse wasn't very well mapped then got to the right place but there was no control so i carried on(turned out it was further down the hill on the wrong side of the bush 1min40
7-8-9 fine
9-10 went down the hill into a dead end, which wasn't on the map, and tried to get through, but i failed, so had to go back up the hill and round the gorse 1min40
10-11 fine
11-12 ok but there was a big unmapped gap through some gorse, which could have saved 20-30s, that i didn't take
12-13-14-15-16-17-18-19-F fine
overall lost 6:20ish
